Creative Design 1 – Mastering Design Thinking & 21st Century skills

In Creative Design 1,  students are introduced to the process of problem solving through design. Students are taught a variety of art and design skills which are then applied through the prototype building process. Based on our research and partnership with companies across industries, we believe this course helps prepare the student for life in a real workforce. This course is split into 3 units that include:
    • ✅ Art and Design fundamentals
    • ✅ Design Cycle and Product Research
    • ✅ Projects, Prototypes and Evaluations
The course develops a broad set of art and design skills that build towards individual and group based problem solving using the design cycle. The best way to experience this program is by creating the work shown in each video and then sharing it on the forums and social groups for feedback. It is important to also save all your work in the form of a portfolio as described in unit 1, which can be showed to potential employers or universities upon application.
